Overview
When your equipment is too important to risk, the NANUK 972 is designed to protect it. Its lightweight but tough NK-7 resin shell shrugs off impacts, drops, dust and water. The five PowerClaw latches keep the lid sealed until you open it, and two stainless steel reinforced padlock eyelets let you lock it for added security.
With 36.4" x 19.8" x 9.9" (923 x 501 x 250 mm) of interior space and 106 L of capacity, the NANUK 972 holds long, awkward items that standard cases can't, such as tripods, light stands, drones, audio gear and field instruments. At just 21.7 lb (9.9 kg) empty, it is easy to handle. Two large polyurethane wheels and a front rubberized handle make it easy to roll through airports and job sites, and the two team carry handles let two people lift it when it's fully loaded.
An automatic pressure equalizing valve balances air pressure when you change altitude or temperature, so the lid opens easily and the seal stays intact. The case floats (max buoyancy 277 lb / 126 kg) and works in extreme temperatures from -67°F to 160°F (-55°C to 71°C). It is also stackable, so it packs neatly into vehicles and storage.
