Everyday Carry Backpack N-EDC 35L

Answering the questions,
1. I usually used it for drones an cameras.
2. I did not have any problem receiving the package.
3. I love Nanuk a lot. I already own 4 cases and 1 back pack.
The issue is that in Panama where I am from is really difficult to get them and Amazon do not deliver to Panama, and I am trying to get a Nanuk 965 with padded dividers and lid organizer that I have on all my Nanuk cases as well. I am trying to do reviews of the brand because I want more people in Panama to start using the Nanuk brand because I know is amazing and perfect.
My recommendation is to work with someone like me in Panama and try to deliver to here. :)

Overall, I really like this backpack. It's a solid backpack that offers a lot of different configurations depending on your needs. A couple points of criticism that may or may not affect your decision in purchasing one:

1) The backpack is very stiff, which is great for durability, but may be challenging if you need to compress it into a tight space (such as storing it on an airplane).

2) Continuing in that theme, the side pockets are EXTREMELY tight, which makes trying to store a water bottle or a tripod in one of the side pockets very challenging sometimes.

3) Also, the top access pocket is also very tight and is not the most usable.

4) Likely not unique to this backpack is the zippers on the back that open up the camera section can be annoying to undo as you have to maneuver around the waist strap. Not a big deal but can be a minor hassle when trying to quickly access your equipment.

Other than those complaints, which aren't that bad honestly, this is a solid backpack and I would highly recommend.

Field tested this bag over the last year in harsh winter climates to filthy woods and construction sites for professional documentary work. Originally reviewed 4/5 but wanted to update with a 5 star.

Build materials are fantastic, holds up and very durable. It's shocking how much you can fit in this bag from a camera body with 70-200 and a 100-400 and extra lenses on top of that. Very comfortable and quick to access gear. Pockets are well thought out and enjoy the tripod strap.

Would buy again!

I love this bag! I have had several bags that did not fit my 200-600mm lens and this bag not only fits - but I have room to spare! I love it!

There were no reviews on this backpack when I bought it, so it was a bit of a risk. So far it's been amazing, I'm using it as a daybag travelling in Panama. I wanted something with a bit of form to protect my drone. The bag stands upright naturally which has been awesome walking around and setting it down. It isn't a rigid frame but it's fairly structured and very easy to pack a LOT of gear into with its main compartment. I also really like protective front case for my sunglasses. I was a little worried about where my water bottle would go, but even my 1L Nalgene fits well when side pouch zippers are open. The bag is very well constructed and seems water resistant (yet to be tested) with what looks like a ripstop inner material. Would highly recommend this backpack!

As with all my other Nanuk case this bag shows the same great quality I was beyond disappointed in the packaging one piece of tape across the top that didn’t even cover the two lid parts and another piece of tape going across the short side of box the lack of quality in packaging raises questions. Did I receive the product quickly yes was it damaged in any way no did the bag meet my needs yes and then some over all the product is great and a must have. It is built well and has more room than expected so I’m extremely happy about that but the way it was packaged need more attention

I had a 50L bag previously and wanted something a bit smaller to get around with and make travelling easier. This hit all the marks! It just keeps holding more but also keeps me working with the gear I need instead of everything. I paired it with the Nanuk 935 for travelling and im very happy with both of them.

The only thing i would add is a couple other dividers as i used some dividers from my previous polar pro bag.

All in all im more than happy and would/will recommend Nanuk to other photographers & videographers. Im now also looking to add a larger Nanuk to my kit for big travel shoots

In my bag:
Sony a7r5 & a7r3 + 5 lenses (50mm 1.2f, 35mm 1.4f, 24-70mm ii 2.8f, 16-35mm i 2.8f & the 14mm 1.8f) all that with a filter kit and still the top access is empty to throw in my add on (mini 4 pro or full cage, top & side handle with shinobi ii monitor or 100-400mm 4.5-5.6f with extra space)

I hesitated to buy this bag due to its price, it is a bit expensive, but the quality is spotless and it looks durable (tho I haven't owned this bag for enough time to say yet). I am a professional photographer, I own many bags (different types and sizes, including hiking backpacks up to 65L), and I like to be able to carry lots of equipment when I need to without fear of damaging anything.

Inside: I love the options the bag offers for inner division, it is very deep and some large lenses could fit standing up in there. I like the triangles in the dividers, they offer protection, and can also contain long small objects (pen, batteries, etc). Otherwise the padding of these dividers feels a little thin to absorb impact between items in the bag. The outer padding is outstanding though! The laptop sleeve is great for a MacBook Pro 16, and the mesh pouch holds the power cable well. The top pockets are well made, and I like that the rigid top divider can be removed, and also comes with straps to stabilize items if needed.

Outside: The bag looks beautiful. The side pockets are great, I can fit a 1L Nalgene bottle in there! The outside straps are good, and I like the sturdiness of the metal clips/hooks. I own some bags that had weak ones that I could ben with my hands, and I had to replace them when they broke. Those on the Nanuk are serious stuff. The shoulder straps are more comfortable than they look. I'm used to thicker/larger straps for a bag this size, but I was surprised. I hope they will hold well for long. The waist straps could have been slightly more generous too, but the padding is good and they achieve well what they were made for.

I wish the outside of the bag had some MOLLE or more options to attach items on top or the front. Other than that, the bag is extremely well made. I love the fact that it stands by itself, thanks to the rigid bottom. It feels great even heavily loaded. The laptop sitting right against the back helps balancing the weight closer to the body.

Conclusion: I always prefer to buy Canadian when I can, and I'm extremely happy with every Nanuk products I have. This bag does not disappoint for its quality and the options it offers, and I am confident I will last. I highly recommend!

It is a very beautiful backpack for a commuter backpack. Also its waterproofing is the best.
